Spanish Government granted visas to foreigner

Since it came into force the Law on Entrepreneurs in September 2013, the Government has granted 1,880 visas or residence permits to entrepreneurs and foreign investors.

These data were provided by the Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García-Legaz, during the delivery of some of the ICO Foundation scholarship for studies in China.

At this event, Garcia-Legaz stressed the importance of Chinese entrepreneurs who have obtained visas for 282 investments in Spain.

The Secretary of State also praised the advances in trade between Spain and China, although it has admitted that they are still far from desirable.

The event was chaired by the president of ICO, Román Escolano, who encouraged trainees to seize the opportunity they offered and assured that 88% of those who have benefited from this scholarship program works in the activity for which was formed.

Also involved the Chinese ambassador to Spain, Zhu Bangzao D., who ddestacó important cultural exchanges between the two countries.

He also stressed that Spain tops the list of countries whose students pass the official exam of knowledge of Chinese.

The ICO also reported that in the last twelve years have benefited almost 300 young Spaniards China Scholarship program of the ICO Foundation.

He also indicated that this program was created as part of a larger project of the Spanish public institutions (the Asia Pacific Plan) and adds that his ultimate goal is to train professionals to work in favor of relations between Spain and East.
