From the entry into force of the new Foreigners' Regulation on 20 May 2025, the modifications to the social roots will come into force, including the socio-occupational roots (article 127B9 which would be the old social root with contract and with which now (from its entry into force) it will only be sufficient to prove two years of stay in the country, instead of three years, as until now) and one or more contracts with a working day of 20 hours, instead of the 30 or 40 hours required at present, can be provided.
